Workshops for the preparation of annual open data action plans

As part of the open public data program and in implementation of the provisions of government decree no. 3 of 6 January 2021 relating to open public data, the eGovernment Unit at the Presidency of the Government organized two workshops in cooperation with the World Bank to initiate the process of developing annual open data action plans in various ministries according to a template developed for this purpose.

These two workshops provided a space for dialogue and exchange of ideas and experiences between the Open Data coordinators from different ministries in order to advance the implementation of the different projects and activities mentioned in the government decree regulating the field of open data. These activities include especially the public data inventory project, publishing data in accordance with open data standards on the national portal or sectoral portals, stimulating the reuse of open data, setting up a capacity-building program and a communication plan specific to the Open Data program.

During these workshops, some ministries presented the first versions of their open data action plans, which will be further enriched and modified to cover the various activities scheduled for the year 2023.
