Launch of an online public survey on developing a national strategy to promote the opening and reuse of government data

In Tunisia, Open Data is part of a broader effort to modernize the administration and improve public services. The legal framework has been strengthened by Government Decree No. 2021-03 and Circular No. 4 of 2024. The national portal data.gov.tn, harvested with several sectoral portals, represents significant progress. However, challenges remain.
In this context, the e-Government Unit at the Presidency of the Government, in partnership with the PAGOF program, has launched the process of developing a National Strategy for the Promotion of Open Data and its Reuse. This strategy aims to establish a strategic framework to encourage data reuse, identify principles and priorities in this area, and achieve the expected social and economic impacts.
In this regard, an online public survey aimed at the public was launched from March 19 to April 20,2025, to identify the needs and expectations of data re-users and explore opportunities to build an efficient and sustainable Open Data ecosystem in Tunisia.
Your participation is valuable to guide the establishment of a dynamic and innovative Open Data ecosystem in Tunisia.
Estimated time to complete the survey: 10–15 minutes.
Confidentiality: All responses will be analyzed as part of the strategy development process and will remain strictly confidential.
