Organization of a webinar to announce the launching of open government initiatives in cooperation with the OECD

As a part of strengthening the Open Government process in Tunisia and to further consolidate the reforms that have been achieved in this field and within the framework of cooperation with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), a webinar will be organized on Thursday, November 12, 2020 to announce the launch of the process of implementing three projects in the Open Government area.

These three projects are as follow :

• Drafting a report to diagnose the status of the open government in Tunisia,
• Developing an open government strategy in Tunisia,
• Establishing a “civique espace” report in Tunisia to determine the availability of legal, political, institutional and operational mechanisms to enhance the participation of civil society in public life and constructive interaction with the government.

In addition, the initial version of the report on the diagnostic the public communication situation at the local level, which has been prepared since October 2019, will be presented during this webinar, and which will be completed by the end of this year.
