Open Government Partnership – Tunisie Just another WordPress site
With the aim of broadening the scope of the international Open Government Partnership program at local level, 50 new local authorities were accepted into the partnership during 2020, including the municipalities of EL Kef and Regueb. It should be noted that the initiative received over 110 applications from government representatives and civil society organizations at the local level.
Joining this international multi-stakeholder initiative, which aims to consolidate the principles of open government at local level, will enable the municipality of El Kef to benefit from numerous advantages, such as the exchange of experiences and best practices in open government at local level on an international scale, as well as the strengthening of international cooperation programs linked to this field, with the possibility of providing support and technical guidance for the implementation of certain projects and commitments included in the OGP action plans.
In this context, and as part of the preparation of the second Open Government Partnership (OGP) action plan for the municipality of El Kef (2024-2026), a broad consultation has been launched to gather proposals and ideas from various participants. These proposals will be used to prepare the first version of this second action plan. It should be noted that this consultation is aimed at various social groups and stakeholders who interact with the administration in general, and more specifically with the municipality of El Kef. These include both governmental and non-governmental parties. This consultation will take place between June 8, 2023 and July 7, 2023.
In addition to the electronic consultation, other means of participation will be used, where various proposals can be submitted by filling in the dedicated descriptive form. These forms can be obtained directly, from June 8, 2023, at the headquarters of the municipality of Kef as well as at the headquarters of the member associations of the Copil-PGO of the municipality of El kef or on the following social networks:
– The official page of the municipality of El Kef on “Facebook”.
– The pages of the above-mentioned partner associations on “Facebook”, namely : Association Tawiza, Association Jusoor Al-Muwatana, Association Sirta pour la culture alternative au Kef, Organisation tunisienne de défense des droits des personnes handicapées, Centre de citoyenneté démocratique et de développement au Kef.
Moreover, proposals may be submitted directly to the central order office of the municipality of EL Kef, or by post or e-mail to communekef@gmail.com .
You can take part in this consultation through this link of the public participation portal, during the period from June 8, 2023 to July 7, 2023, by submitting your ideas and suggestions concerning the projects you deem necessary and useful to develop initiatives and carry out reforms to embody the principles of open government at the level of the Kef region, according to the axes proposed in this consultation.
