Within the framework of the celebrations of the international week of the Open Government: Seminar around the Tunisian experience in the framework of the program of the Partnership for an Open Government-OGP

As part of the celebration of the International Open Government Week, which takes place from 8 to 12 May 2023, by all countries adhering to the Open Government Partnership Initiative, including Tunisia, the E-Government Unit at the Presidency of the Government, in collaboration with the National School of Administration and the World Bank, organized a seminar on the Open Government Partnership Initiative, on 11 May 2023 at the National School of Administration.

This seminar aims to introduce the concept of open government and the various principles associated with it. It was also an opportunity to present the experience of Tunisia in this field through a number of interventions made by representatives of the e-government unit, the World Bank and civil society. In this context, the commitments and reforms carried out under the various action plans of the OGP were presented, mainly those concerning the right of access to information and open public data.
The content of these interventions was the subject of two sessions of exchanges, which saw the active participation of the audience, including students of the graduate cycle of the National School of Administration.

The organization of this seminar is part of the establishment of a cooperation mechanism between the National School of Administration and the E-Government Unit since 2022. The objective of this cooperation is to introduce the concepts of open government to graduate students, which helps support their knowledge in this area and identify the reforms carried out by Tunisia as part of its participation in this global initiative.
