Organization of workshops in 3 governorates as part of the wider public consultation for the co-creation of the 5th National OGP Action Plan

As part of the preparation of the 5th Action Plan of the Open Government Partnership, an expanded public consultation on the proposed reforms to be included in this plan was organized during the period from February 8, 2023 to May 9, 2023. This consultation aims to collect proposals and ideas from the various participants concerning projects that they deem to be priorities and achievable in order to develop initiatives and carry out reforms to embody the principles of open government.
In this regard, consultations were organized in three regions in order to widen the circle of participants in this consultation and to collect the largest number of proposals that could be included in the initial version of the 5 th action plan. These consultations were organized in the form of workshops in which participated several executives of several municipalities in these regions with the participation of representatives of several associations active in the field of open government and representatives of some public structures. These workshops were organized as follows:
– A workshop in the region of Gafsa on 03 May 2023 with the participation of the municipalities of Gafsa, Metlaoui, Ksar and Mdhila
– A workshop in the region of Kairouan – May 04, 2023 with the participation of the municipalities of Kairouan, Oueslatia, Bouhajla and Haffouz
– A workshop in the region of Kef – May 9, 2023 with the participation of all the Commune of El Kef, Tajrouine, Nebr, Al Sars and Bahra
These workshops were organized in cooperation with the Support Program for Francophone Open Governments in its second version “PAGOF 2” which is supervised by “Experience France”. As well as in cooperation with the National Democratic Institute – ND I and the National Federation of Tunisian Communes – FNCT.
