work meetings for the implementation of the “Youth Action Plans” project

As part of the implementation of commitment (10) of the 4th OGP National Action Plan (2021-2023) relating to the Activation of the role of youth in the designing and monitoring of public projects, at the local level (Implementation of the project on Youth Action Plans-YAP) and as part of the last phase of the project on the implementation of “Youth Action Plans “, the German Agency for Technical Cooperation (GIZ), organized working meetings in the premises of the municipalities (9 municipalities) involved in the implementation of the project and the e-Government unit at the Presidency of the Government participated in a number of these meetings. These meetings aims to coordinate the implementation of the “youth action plans” by identifying the priorities of the municipalities in implementing these plans and discussing the project implementation agenda and the budget allocated to the different activities of each project. Mechanisms to ensure the sustainability of the youth action plan projects in these municipalities were also discussed.

These meetings were attended by mayors and city councilors, as well as members of the local work teams, who were responsible for developing the youth action plans . These working meetings were organized according to the following schedule:

It should be noted that the project “Youth Action Plan-YAP”, object of the commitment 10 of the 4th OGP National Action Plan is part of the Project “Initiative for Municipal Development-IDM”, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the German International Cooperation Agency -GIZ Tunisia in partnership with the Ministry of Interior (Local Affairs) and the National Federation of Tunisian Communes FNCT, in support of the Unit of Electronic Administration at the Presidency of the Government (UAE) in the implementation of this commitment.
