Call for projects: “Youth Action Plan”

As part of the implementation of commitment (10) of the 4th OGP National Action Plan (2021-2023) relating to the Activation of the role of youth in the designing and monitoring of public projects, at the local level (Implementation of the project on Youth Action Plans-YAP), the German Agency for Technical Cooperation (GIZ), in coordination with the E-Government Unit at the Presidency of Government, opens the applications to participate in the call for projects “Youth Action Plans”. The communes concerned by this project are the twelve communes involved in the implementation of this commitment. Within this framework, the communes have been provided with the necessary documents to submit the application file, namely:

– The project guidelines: this document contains all the information concerning the call for proposals, the modalities of participation, and the evaluation grid for the selection of the proposed projects,

– The “Youth Action Plan (YAP)” project form, which the local working groups in the municipalities concerned must fill in, must contain a detailed description of the proposed project,

– The “Youth Action Plan (YAP)” budget form, to be completed by the local working groups in the municipalities concerned, must contain a detailed description of the budget for the proposed “youth action plan”.

Applications to participate in the call for projects “Youth Action Plans” during the period between 25 June 2022 and 27 July 2022 should be sent to the following e-mail address: paj.communes.2022@gmail.com

In a subsequent phase, the projects will be presented to an evaluation committee composed of the different stakeholders involved in the project, where the projects that obtain a total of 70 points or more (out of 100 points) will be selected.

It should be noted that the project “Youth Action Plan-YAP”, object of the commitment 10 of the 4th National Action Plan- PGO is part of the Project “Initiative for Municipal Development-IDM”, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the German International Cooperation Agency -GIZ Tunisia in partnership with the Ministry of Interior (Local Affairs) and the National Federation of Tunisian Communes FNCT, in support of the Unit of Electronic Administration at the Presidency of the Government (UAE) in the implementation of this commitment
