Open Government Partnership – Tunisie Just another WordPress site
Within the framework of the implementation of commitment (11) of the 4th OGP National Action Plan (2021-2023) related to the support to the implementation of the Open Government Action Plans at the local level, in particular the sub-commitment related to the strengthening of public communication at the level of eight (08) municipalities, a workshop was organized with the aim of presenting the results of the first phase of the implementation of the project related to the diagnosis and identification of the needs in terms of internal and external public communication in the municipalities concerned by the project ( diagnostic reports on communication can be consulted at the end of this article ), as well as with the aim of launching the elaboration of a communication action plan in each municipality.
This workshop was organized on 25 and 26 March 2022 in Sousse, by the office of the German Agency for International Cooperation-GIZ in Tunisia, in collaboration with the National Democratic Institute-NDI and in partnership with the e-Government Unit at the Presidency of the Government and the National Federation of Tunisian Municipalities.
Note that this workshop is part of the Project “Initiative for Municipal Development”, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ Tunisia in partnership with the Ministry of the Interior (Local Affairs) and the National Federation of Tunisian Municipalities, in support of the e-Government Unit at the Presidency of Government.
A number of mayors, general secretaries and administrative staff from the eight municipalities involved in the project participated in this workshop. Civil society representatives from these municipalities and members of the joint advisory committee in charge of the 4th OGP National Action Plan also participated in this event.
