As part of the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Open Government Partnership-OGP, the Executive Office of this initiative has launched the OGP Impact Awards in order to honor the most influential commitments at the level of the countries involved in this initiative and included in the national action plans for the years before 2016.
In this context, the E-Government Unit consulted the OGP consultative committee to select a commitment from a list of three commitments appointed by the OGP executive board. The Unit also conducted a national online public consultation for the optimal choice of this engagement.
The choice fell on the second commitment included in the second national OGP action plan, relating to “The implementation of the regulatory framework to activate the right of access to information”.
The public vote was opened on the site of the Open Government Partnership to choose the three best engagements at the international level, during the period of October 18 to 25, 2021.
