As part of the implementation of the 8th commitment of the 4th OGP national action plan and following the Recommendation of the OECD Council on Open Government to which Tunisia adhered in 2019, the Government Tunisien intends to launch, in cooperation with the OECD, a process of public consultation for the design of a national Open Government strategy in Tunisia.
This commitment aims to design an Open Government strategy in Tunisia and to anchor it in a general vision, based on short, medium and long term indicators, the implementation of which is measurable.
In this regard, this strategy is aiming at :
- Establish a framework promoting the coordination of reforms carried out in this area, at local and national levels,
- Define the objectives and priorities that must be implemented effectively,
- Provide the appropriate strategic framework for the OGP national action plans, developed and implemented every two years.
- Promote and anchor the culture of Open Government within the public sector and in society.
The data collected by this consultation will contribute to the identification of the priority axes in the design of a strategic vision of open government in Tunisia, as well as in defining the main reforms that will be carried out within the framework of the implementation of this strategy in order to strengthen the Open Government achievements in Tunisia and ensure their sustainability.
This public consultation will be organized during the period fromOctober 01 to November, 01 2021.
