Final version of the Open Government Partnership Action Plan of the Municipality of Kef

Since its adhesion in September 2019 to the International Initiative of the Open Government Partnership “OGP”, the municipality of El Kef has embarked on a participatory path to prepare its own action plan for the concretization of the Open Government principles on the local level. The elaboration of an action plan for Open Government at the level of this municipality aims to establish a new approach to governance at the local level which brings together all the actors of local life, citizens, associations, specialists and media, and reflects a local effort to improve municipal performance.

This plan contains 17 commitments aimed at strengthening integrity, supporting the participatory approach and modernizing the administration with the aim of contributing to the improvement of the municipality’s public services in coordination with civil society, which will follow all the steps, whether related to preparation, implementation or monitoring and evaluation. Through this local action plan, the municipality will also make an effort to support the gains that have been made, the most important of which is the digitization of the municipality.
