Announcing the launch of the 1st phase of the public consultation for the development of the 4th OGP National Action Plan

In the framework of 4th OGP action plan process, a webinair has been organized on October 12, 2020, aiming at the announcement of the launch of the 1st phase of the public consultation on the initial version of the 4th OGP national action plan. This webinar has been chaired by the Minister to the Head of Government in charge of the civil service. Experts and national and international partners took part in this event, including representatives of the Executive Office of the Open Government Partnership in Washington, the World Bank Office in Tunisia, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development “OECD “, The French Development Agency” AFD “, the German Agency for International Cooperation” GIZ “and the United Nations Development Program. “UNDP”.

This event made it possible to present and lead a discussion in the presence of all the stakeholders on the Process and Agenda for the development of the 4th national action plan.

In this regard, the Minister affirmed her commitment to support the implementation of the commitments made within the framework of the Open Government Partnership initiative while stressing the need to overcome the economic issues linked to the pandemic and to other technical, human and organizational obstacles to the success of this international partnership and this in order to establish a government more transparent, responsible and open to the citizens who participate in the developmentand implementation of its vision.

On this occasion, the Minister paid tribute to two representatives of civil society who have effectively contributed to strengthening the partnership between the government and civil society within the framework of the “OGP” initiative.
