Within the framework of the implementation of commitment 11 of the 3rd OGP action plan (2018-2020) relating to the establishment of the OGP at the local level, the first phase of public consultations washas been organized from January 16 to March 10, 2020 to further involve citizens and civil society representatives, in addition to public structures representatives, in defining the proposed reforms within these plans.
After then, the steering committees in charge of following up on the OGP program at the municipal level involved in the implemention of this commitment examined the proposals gathered during the consultation period in order to study and sort them to draft the initial version of the Open Gov action plans. Meetings have also been organized with the coordination team charged of the following up on the implementation of this commitment at the national level.
To further involve the participation of the several stakeholders, as well as all citizens, in drafting of these action plans for these municipalities, the second phase of public consultations has been launched in order toshare the set of proposed reforms that were selected by the steering committees based on the various proposals gathered during the first phase of consultations, in addition to participate in drafting them and introducing the necessary rectifications to them, with determining the degree of priority for each of the proposed commitment.
